How does a shared game work?

TableDuel’s main advantage is that two players can meet in the same game through a quick private invite link, without registration. The complete flow runs in the browser.

1. Choose a game

Choose from four board games, Mau-Mau, and Old Maid on the home page. Play the board games with a friend or computer opponent, and the card games with 2–4 friends. As a guest, you only need to enter a display name.

2. Copy the invite link

After creating the game, you receive a unique invite code and a complete URL. The link points directly to the waiting match, so nobody has to search for a room or type a code. Send it in a message to the person you want to play.

3. The other player joins

Your guest opens the link, enters a name, and joins. They do not have to register either. As soon as both players are present, the match starts and the interface clearly shows whose turn it is.

4. Play in real time

Moves reach the other player after server-side validation. The interface shows the current turn, partner availability, and important recent changes. At the end, you can also see whether the opponent requested another game, left, or is no longer online.

When is registration useful?

An account is not required to play. It adds value if you want to revisit previous results or quickly find people you enjoyed playing with. A registered player can still send invite links to guests.

Connection loss and fair play

A browser can close or a network can drop, so the game reports the partner’s status. An active match can be ended clearly through forfeiting. In a friendly game, keep the invite link in your conversation until the match is complete.
