Hangman is a duel here: each player receives a different word of the same difficulty and solves their own word. Guess a letter or the complete word; six wrong guesses mean defeat. A wrong complete word also counts as a mistake. Use the alphabet of the word language, including its accented letters.
A decision worth thinking through
When two letters are missing but several words fit, guessing the complete word can be riskier than testing a letter. A correct letter can reveal several positions at once. Your opponent may be close to finishing, but do not spend your last remaining mistake on a word supported only by a hunch.
